Notifications (Early Access)

Note: Notifications is currently under development and released as Early Access. This means some functionality is not yet available and may change as the feature evolves.

Summary

The Notifications feature provides updates about activity related to registrations, data points, and comments. Notifications help users stay informed about discussions and updates that require attention. Notifications are displayed on a personal Notifications page and link directly to the relevant registration or data point.

Important Notes

• Notifications are currently released as Early Access.
• Some functionality may change while the feature is under development.
• Only notifications related to the active reporting year are displayed.
• Comment notifications are grouped by data point.

Overview

The Notifications page lists recent activity relevant to the user. Notifications are ordered with the most recent update first. Each notification includes:

• The user who performed the action

• The time of the action

• The related measure

• The related measure point

• The reporting period

• The organizational unit

When applicable, the notification also displays a preview of the comment or update.

Each notification links directly to the relevant registration or data point, allowing quick access to review the activity and respond if needed.

What Triggers a Notification

Notifications are generated when activity occurs in areas relevant to the user.

Comments on Registrations

You receive notifications when comments are added to registrations for which you are responsible.

This includes:

• Comments on the registration

• Comments on individual data points or answers within the registration

Comment Updates

You receive notifications when activity occurs in comment threads where you are involved.

This includes:

• Updates to a comment you have written

• Replies to your comment

• When you are mentioned using @username

Read and Unread Notifications

Notifications display a status indicator showing whether they have been opened.

Unread notification

• Displayed with a colored dot

Read notification

• The dot turns grey after the notification has been opened

If new activity occurs in a notification thread, the notification will be marked as unread again.

Upcoming Functionality

Future updates to Notifications will include alerts for:

• Changes to review status
