What is AutoReporting?

AutoReporting is an AI-driven feature that assists users in generating draft responses for sustainability datapoints using two main sources:
- Customer-provided documents (policies, disclosures, reports, certifications, procedures, contracts, etc.).
- Customer-provided inputs within the reporting flow (manual answers, notes, data points).
The system analyses these materials to produce AI-suggested answers that the user can refine, approve, or override -maintaining full control. AutoReporting accelerates the process while keeping all outputs transparent and editable.
Where and how AI suggestions can be triggered
AutoReporting can be triggered from different levels of the reporting flow to fit diverse working styles, let's start by looking at the first option:
Upload Data Page → Start AutoReporting
In short: Users upload documents first. The system uses these documents to prepare answer suggestions. The “Generate suggestion” action remains accessible for users who want to begin from a document-driven perspective.

1. Select Upload Data and then Start AutoReporting

2. Select Upload documents

3. Drag files or select from your computer

4. When uploaded you can select into which aspects the uploaded documents should generate suggestions within, e. Social, Governance or Environment.


5. Before generating the suggestions please check which organizational unit each document relates to. When ready click Generate.

6. When the suggestions have been generated you can review them in the Data reporting view.

7. Locate an ESRS measure and check for any text box with the AI suggestion label. You can check References to see which document is sourced for this answer.

8. A side panel opes to display the documents referenced.

9. To use the AI generated suggestion, click Insert, you can then edit the answer yourself using the editor. Here you also have the option of Tuning your response with AI. There are a number of alternatives such as Formalize, Grammar check or (make) More concise or you can add your own custom instructions.

10. To accept the text tuning click Accept, otherwise click Reject to go back to the text before the text was tuned by AI.
Datapoint-level Generation (aiming for a Q4 release)
For customers with approved AI T&Cs, AI suggestions can be generated directly at the question/datapoint level. If a user has already provided a manual answer, the AI reuses and respects that content.
You remain in full control and can still request a new AI suggestion, with the AI intelligently incorporating:
- Their manually written answer
- Relevant uploaded documents
- Any framework guidance
Key Capabilities
AI Transparency & Reuse Logic (aiming at Q4 release)
- If a user already has a manually written response, the AI factors this into the new suggestion to ensure continuity and alignment.
- This reduces rewrite loops and preserves institutional knowledge.
Transparency & Full Traceability
Every suggestion comes with:
- Direct citations to the documents used.
- A “Reference” button revealing the document name and section.
Document-Driven Intelligence
- Uploaded documents feed into the AI model.
- Tooltips guide the user through file upload and assignment for accurate processing.
Multilingual Support (Q4 release)
- The AutoReporting implementation plan now includes multilingual generation capabilities, ensuring scalability across markets and teams.
