Group Reporting for Requesting Companies

Modified on Fri, 25 Sep at 11:45 AM

Overview

As the requesting company, you use Group Reporting to assign work to a responding company and follow its progress without leaving Position Green.

Getting started

Reach out to your Position Green contact to set up Group Reporting. Once it's enabled, you can assign and generate registrations for the responding company yourself, or ask Position Green to do it for you. Registrations appear right away for the responding company, and the linked organization unit(s) shows up in your own Group Reporting menu so you can follow progress.

What you can do from here:

  • Track progress as it happens, not just at the end — the progress overview shows Ready to confirm / In progress / Not started counts per company, updated as the responding company works. A View registrations button takes you straight to the relevant registrations in Data Reporting.
  • Review confirmed data using your normal review, analytics, tabulate, and export tools — Group Reporting data is included there, same as any other registration in your context.
  • Support responding companies — comment directly on a registration to answer questions, give guidance, or discuss a reporting decision. This keeps reporting work and communication in one place instead of separate email threads.

A note on suggested data

If you and the responding company report on the same framework and version, Position Green can suggest answers on their registrations based on their own confirmed data — saving them re-entry. This only becomes available once their source data is confirmed, and it never takes away their ability to report manually. See the Group Reporting overview article for the full picture of how suggestions behave.
